About the Role:

The position of Accountant Senior within our Milwaukee Performance Team performs critical functions in supporting multiple Wealth Outsourcing clients on the TrustDesk Accounting Platform. The clients serviced on TrustDesk provide over $34 million in annual revenue to FIS.

What you will be doing:

  • Learn the features and methodology of FIS's proprietary performance measurement system, ReturnTrack.
  • Analyze and resolve issues identified by daily performance exception reports. Issues can be caused any number of occurrences: market activity, client originated errors, WOS originated errors, data vendor errors, system issues.
  • You will also be responsible to collecting data on numerous monthly market indices from various sources on a very tight deadline.
  • Client contact individual, so strong communication skills - both written and oral - are needed.
  • The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and meet multiple deadlines is essential.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or at least 3 years of training, or work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word are essential - Access and Bloomberg knowledge is a plus.
  • Skill in analytical and statistical examination for complex problem solving
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to understand financial information
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and clients

Added bonus if you have:

Knowledge of TrustDesk, 3270 on-line screens and VGPA batch file maintenance extremely helpful.

An understanding of a wide variety of securities (pricing, accruals, trading, etc.) and securities markets would be very helpful.
