About the department
You will be part of the IT Infrastructure & Operations organization (I&O), where you will report into the Global Lead of Platform and Architecture. The I&O organization delivers world class 24/7 services to the business, through scalable fit-for-purpose capabilities directly supporting our manufacturing sites. I&O has been a fast-growing department and deeply involved in the digital transformation of the company. You will be surrounded by highly dedicated and skilled colleagues who all work on the mission of ensuring stable, efficient and compliant IT solutions. As the Platform Delivery Manager, you will manage a team of about 10 infrastructure engineers with a key focus on operational excellence, platform availability and lifecycle management. Main platforms/services within the scope of the role includes compute, storage, backups, Automation/orchestration platforms, Monitoring, and Citrix. You strive to be a brilliant and emphatic people manager, that can appreciate the complexities that comes with managing an experienced team of technical individuals during a long period of transition and significant growth. * Drive continuous improvement and introduction of IT 'best practices' into all areas of process, metrics, and performance.

* Resource management between operational duties, and high project delivery demand.

* Vendor management, including contractors embedded within the operational/project teams.

* Key contributor in key processes such as Change Advisory Boards, Architecture Review Boards, Critical Incident Management, and Incident and Problem Management.

* Ability to drive maturity around capacity management towards a proactive and controlled best practice model. * Create holistic roadmaps, spanning people, technology, and processes within the relevant domains.

* Manage customers and stakeholders across IT and the business; create strong relationships and educate along our common path forward.

Qualifications and Education

* Strong familiarity with the following technologies or concepts:

* VMware Version 7 and above * Citrix * Veeam Back Up Solution * Cloud Services with a Focus on Azure and AWS * IT Security systems for IDS and IPS * Infrastructure Workflow Automation * Physical and Cloud based storage * Enterprise Disaster Recovery * Active Directory * Database Hosting * TOGAF * GAMP5 knowledge would be considered a plus.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to evaluate hypotheses and assumptions to drive decision making.

* A natural interest in technology, standardization, automation, and optimization of processes.

* Understanding user needs and insights with an ability to translate these to digital journeys and user stories, specifically to reduce manual tasks.

* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and drive alignment on the product direction.

* Ability to stay motivated in a fast-moving environment where priorities change and with a requirement to deliver results.

* Independent and self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning. * Fluency in English is required as we are an international company

* Accreditations a plus
