Overview

Global Technology Solutions (GTS) caters to the diverse technology needs of RTI and its effort to digitally transform the Institute. GTS provides technical support, resources and services to help staff work efficiently and effectively in compliance with RTI policies. GTS also aims to provide technology solutions to support the Institute's Business Units, General and Administrative functions, and make RTI a global leader in finding innovative solutions to technological challenges.

RTI is looking for an experienced Oracle Integration Architect to join the Enterprise Applications and Analytics team. This role reports into the Integrations Lead and is responsible for development and maintenance of integrations with all G&A applications, including the Enterprise Data Warehouse.


Responsibilities

Essential Duties:
* Collaborate with Business Analysts and business stakeholders in requirements gathering, development of Technical Design Documents and development and rollout of integrations with the SaaS, on-prem and cloud hosted applications.
* Lead integration architectural designs in collaboration with the System architecture team to design integrations based on approved ARB architecture canvases.
* Develop and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
* Develop and maintain best practices for integration development and contribute to overall integration strategy refinement.
* Closely partner with system architects, data architects and other technical team members
* Analyze and troubleshoot complex data integration ETL issues in a timely manner
* Develop and maintain documentation for integrations - such as Technical Design Documents and SIT Test scripts.
* Design, develop, implement, and optimize ETL workflows and transformations using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) based on requirements for batch processing, real-time, bulk transfer or streaming of data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
* Implement Data Governance standards and procedures for ETL development and tool configurations.
* Collaborate with Master Data Management leads to ensure accurate and consistent transformations are applied in ETL processes.


Qualifications

Job Requirements are a combination of qualifications and related experience.
* Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Computer Science) and 12 years of relevant experience in OIC or
Master's degree and 10 years of experience or
PhD and 6 years of experience or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 3 years working experience architecting and developing integrations in Oracle Integration Cloud

Integration architecture AND hands-on development/troubleshooting is a requirement.

* Familiarity with all available data ingestion mechanisms in Oracle Autonomous data warehouse and corresponding data lakes and data marts
* Experience developing and maintaining ETL processes for data integration between various systems.
* Experience collecting, analyzing, and documenting user requirements
* Familiarity with all available data ingestion mechanisms in Oracle Autonomous data warehouse and corresponding data lakes and data marts
* Experience in designing ETL solutions for all data warehousing approaches such as Inmon and Kimball i.e. both ETL and ELT approaches.
* Excellent communications skills to interact with internal business owners and other developers, including training and mentoring of team members
* Possess skills in API design, security, and management.

Nice to Have
* Hands on experience with Oracle Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment of integration solutions.
* Implement DevOps practices to streamline integration development, testing, and deployment processes.
* Design, implement, and maintain integrations using Oracle API Gateway.
* Experience in configuring and managing API Gateway policies, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
* Implementing event-driven architecture using Oracle Streaming or Kafka.
* Experience developing serverless functions for handling integration tasks.
