We are currently searching for a Senior Vice President to lead our Patient-Centered and Outcomes Research (PCOR) team. Our team of accredited researchers aim to produce evidence that empowers patients and healthcare providers to make informed decisions that optimize health outcomes, enhance patient-centered care, and improve the overall quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be accountable for engaging in organization-wide strategic planning and aligning the PCOR service grouping to overall strategy and growth plans. You will collaborate with RTI-HS leadership to further influence market adoption of services in line with organization-wide strategies. Additionally, you will identify, explore, and recommend opportunities to expand into adjacent services through acquisition, strategic partnering, or other forms of outsourcing.

Added responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Designing and implementing research studies that supply value, perspective, and evidence for clinical and/or preclinical product portfolio decisions, marketing, regulatory agency submissions, and product reimbursement strategies.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues within PCOR and throughout RTI-HS to deliver quality services and partnership to our clients and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the Strategic Consulting and Growth team to understand emerging client needs and share project experiences to facilitate strategic client partnerships.
  • Partnering with RTI-HS leadership to inform market trends for practice areas, drive strategy, and contribute to long-term planning.
  • Adapting and aligning resources to large market/industry trends and changes
  • Inspiring and creating a culture of growth, innovation, quality, and client centricity.
  • Managing financial metrics, including group P&L and direct project rate
  • Ensuring annual goals, including growth and metrics, are met.
  • Engaging with clients to ensure success of projects led by the PCOR team.
  • Contributing to strategy based on external knowledge of trends and future changes in the market.
  • As a research manager, writing and reviewing proposals or portions of proposals and leading or supporting complex projects, while also serving as a mentor to staff in proposal and project leadership
  • Participating in business development activities, including meetings with prospective clients
  • Ensuring the professional credibility of the group function internally and externally with key professional organizations, while lending support to develop the scientific and/or professional stature of staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's level degree and 20 years of directly related experience, Master's level degree and 16 years of directly related experience, or PhD and 12 years of directly related experience.
  • Proven record of effective collaboration and teamwork
  • Demonstrated success leading teams in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries, or teams providing services to these industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from internal or external customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating change effectively and preparing and supporting those affected by change.
  • Proven record of inspiring respect and trust and fostering a quality focus in others.
  • Ability and willingness to travel globally as needed.

Equal Pay Act Minimum/Range

$310,000.00-$390,000.00
